About the Event
The Classical Guitar Society is one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier and most prolific ensembles, composed of its four members, David Franzen, John Mery, Jesse McCann and Bryan Johanson. The group has created a stunning new chapter in the history of the classical guitar quartet and their collective musical interests span centuries of repertoire and dozens of musical styles. On Saturday, September 27 the families and fellow comrades of the fallen heroes will have the chance to confidentially get together for a time of sharing, and will attend break-out sessions which will provide information to assist in the process of coping with their loss and sacrifice. A Candlelight Vigil will happen at Columbia Park at the Veteran's Memorial in Kennewick, Washington. Everyone is encouraged to join the families at the Candlelight Ceremony beside the Columbia River. The Vigil will start at 7:30 in the evening.
