The musicians are proud to feature local school ensembles to encourage competitors from throughout the Pacific Northwest to join the annual competition for young artists. A reception will follow after the performances.

Symphony Series – A Little Summer Night Music in Walla WallaNow on its 107th season, the Walla Walla Symphony proudly presents the fifth installment of their Symphony Series aptly entitled “A Little Summer Night Music”. The concert is taking place at the Cordiner Hall of Whitman College in Walla Walla on April 15.

A Night of Riveting Music
Walla Walla Symphony is presenting “A Little Summer Night Music” in collaboration with Blue Mountain Audubon Society. Aside from the enthralling pieces you will hear during the concert, there will also be free pre-concert talk entitled “Inside the Music” at 6:30PM at the Reid Campus Center Ballroom. This weekend the Mid Columbia Mastersingers presents A Big Band Christmas performance. This musical performance will take place Saturday night, December 18, in the Chiawana High School auditorium, in Pasco Washington, beginning at 7:00pm. The performance will feature soprano Carisa Simpson, baritone Jeremy Irland, and the Columbia Basin Jazz Orchestra directed by Randy Hubbs. The Mid Columbia Mastersingers will also provide a special presentation of The Pacific Northwest Premiere of a Cantata.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, and the cost is $20 per adult, $15 for senior citizens and college students. There is no charge to attend for kindergarten through high school students.
