The 48 Hour Film Project is a sleepless weekend where a team of talented filmmakers creates several short films. They are given a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre and then challenged to produce a finished short film in 48 hours. All writing, shooting, editing and scoring must be completed in just 48 hours. The movie is directed by Yimou Zhang in 2002. Top-billed by Jet Li it is rated PG-13 for stylized martial arts violence and a scene of sensuality. Cement Suitcase Special Showing in Fairchild Cinemas, PascoCement Suitcase is a comedy film written and directed by a native of Yakima Valley. It was shot entirely in and around the Valley. It will have a one night only special showing at the Fairchild Cinemas in Pasco on March 22 at 7PM.
