Hosting the celebration of Earth Hour 2017 are Go Green Tri-Cities, The Reach Museum, and other green organizations all over the Tri-Cities. Earth Hour 2017 is a celebration that brings to light the community's commitment to the planet and desire to fight against climate change.

March 29 is the day the whole world celebrates Earth Hour. Some people from all across the earth do it by turning off all of their non-essential lights while others show they’re one with the whole world through different events.
Each year, towards the end of March, Earth Hour is observed worldwide to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change. The World Wide Fund for Nature organized this event to encourage households and businesses to do their part.
