Earth Hour Party at Crow's Nest Clover Island Inn in KennewickMarch 29 is the day the whole world celebrates Earth Hour. Some people from all across the earth do it by turning off all of their non-essential lights while others show they’re one with the whole world through different events.

Head on out to Crow’s Nest Clover Island Inn on March 29 and listen to acoustic music and watch live stream of Earth Hour events as they happen around the world. You would even get the chance to watch as the decorative lighting of Kennewick’s own cable bridge is turned off in observance of Earth Hour, which will be observed from 8:30 to 9:30PM on said day. Admission is free.

Earth Hour Night Hike at Chamna Natural Preserve in RichlandEach year, towards the end of March, Earth Hour is observed worldwide to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change. The World Wide Fund for Nature organized this event to encourage households and businesses to do their part.

Normally, households and businesses are encouraged to turn off most, if not all, of the lights for one hour. However, other parts of the world exert more effort in taking action against climate change just like the Earth Hour Night Hike that will take place at the Chamna Natural Preserve in Richland on March 29.
