Bird Banding Demonstration at Chamna Preserve, RichlandEnjoy the outdoors and commune with nature as you join the Bird Banding Demonstration at the Chamna Preserve in Richland, Wa on April 2. The event is set to take place at 9 to 11AM.

Bird Banding Demonstration
This demonstration will give you a chance to see wild birds up close and personal. You’ll also learn many new things about birds like how these are captured, identified, measured, recorded, and banded. You will also find out how such information is used to study bird behavior and population dynamics.

On Saturday, September 25, the City of Richland will be holding their 10th City Fair beginning at 10:30am and going until 1:30pm. The fair will be a way for the residents of Richland Washington and the rest of the Tri Cities to come learn about the municipal services, programs and projects. Come by the Richland City Hall on the corner of George Washington Way and Swift Blvd where there will be activities, displays and demonstrations for all ages. There will be a city employee from each department manning a display with handouts, games and demonstrations.
