Columbia Basin Concert Band Concert CBC Theatre Pasco, WashingtonThe Music Department of the Columbia Basin College conducts three concerts a year during the end of every season. About the Concert
The Columbia Basin Concert Band will present a selection of songs that will make you enjoy listening and feeling speechless. The concert is directed by Randy Hubbs with the performance of the CBC Concert Band at the CBC Theatre, 2600 N. 20th Avenue in Pasco, Washington.

Lit Fest Primal Mates: Music Meets Poetry Richland Public Library Richland, WashingtonOver the years, as part of their regular concert programs, the chamber jazz duo of Chris Lee and Colleen O'Brien have included poems that have been set to music, music that has been set to poems, and music by some well-known writers who were also accomplished composers. This concert will be devoted entirely to this genre. This concert is presented by the Mid-Columbia Literary Festival.

The Inland Northwest Orchestra will be performing with three of the talented young artist competition winners, playing classical music on Sunday that will also feature the William Tell Oveture by Gioacchino Rossini, and Overture on Russian Themes by Rimsky-Korsakov.

The musicians are proud to feature local school ensembles to encourage competitors from throughout the Pacific Northwest to join the annual competition for young artists. A reception will follow after the performances.

This year's artist will be Grammy-award winning studio pianist, saxophonist, composer, arranger and conductor Gordon Goodwin. Mr. Goodwin is the leader of the Big Phat Band which is an 18-piece Grammy-nominated Jazz ensemble based in California. He will be performing with the Columbia Basin Jazz Orchestra on Friday, April 10.
