On December 14 come out to Kennewick High School for the 5th Annual Kennewick Police Officers vs. Kennewick Firefighters Charity Basketball Event, tip off will take place at 7:00pm. The cost of admission into the game is simply a donation, but you may want to bring some extra cash for your chance to win the raffle. Ski season is just around the corner and with that comes the annual ski and snowboard swaps. One of our local ski resorts, White Pass Ski Resort, is getting close to opening the slopes for the weekend, but not before the Volunteer White Pass Ski Patrol holds their annual White Pass Ski & Snowboard Swap in Yakima Washington. This annual ski swap, which has been going on for over 40 years now, features new and used snowboards, shaped skis, traditional skis, and a variety of new and used clothing. The ski swap will take place on Saturday, November 6 from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and Sunday, November 7 from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Yakima Fairgrounds.
