Tri Cities Cancer Center Foundation Presents Look Good…Feel Better

The battle with cancer is never easy especially for women, and that is why the American Cancer Society and the Tri Cities Cancer Center Foundation have collaborated to bring you Look Good…Feel Better.

This workshop of sorts will have Robyn Stradley as facilitator, and it will be held at the Foundation Conference Room of the Tri Cities Cancer Center on March 19, from 10AM to 12PM.

Look Good and Feel Better
This event aims to teach women who are going through cancer treatments how to cope with the changes brought forth by these such as skin changes and hair loss. Robyn will instruct participants how to apply cosmetics and how to disguise hair loss, including loss of eyebrows. Complimentary cosmetic kits will be provided to participants.

Tri Cities Cancer Center Book Reading – Leading a Charmed Life

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. In Washington alone, an estimated 37,290 new cancer cases was projected last year. This figure goes to show how big a problem cancer is.

It’s a good thing that certain types of cancer can be treated. However, not many people know what to do or how they should react when diagnosed with the dreaded disease.

So if you know someone, a friend or a member of the family, who has been diagnosed with cancer, invite them to join you on February 10, 2014 at the Tri Cities Cancer Center from 12 noon to 1PM for a book reading session entitled “Leading a Charmed Life” – My Journey through Cancer Treatment.

Stomp Out Cancer Fundraiser at Preston Premium Wines

On May 21 head over to Preston Premium Wines for the Stomp Out Cancer Event. Stomp Out Cancer is a fundraising event hosted by Preston Premium Wines, Team Stomp IT and Gary’s Gang to benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be dinner, dancing, music and wine for all to enjoy. You will also be able to join in on some fun games as well as participate in live and silent auctions to benefit the American Cancer Society. Stomp Out Cancer will take place at Preston Premium Wines in Pasco Washington from 4:00pm-10:00pm on May 21.

Tickets can be purchased at either the Bank of Whitman in Pasco Washington or the American Cancer Society in Kennewick Washington. The price of tickets is $65 for a couple or $250 for a table of 8.
