Warrior Sisterhood and Tri-Cities Cancer Center are partners in assisting women of the Tri-Cities that are diagnosed with cancer. The raised funds will directly be given to supporting local women battling cancer.

The event will be at The Richland Parkway, between Jadwin Avenue and George Washington Way Richland, Washington from 11:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon. There will be a $25 admission fee for adult and senior.

Rising Above Cancer Badger Mountain Climb In Richland, WashingtonOn Saturday, October 10 Northwest Cancer Clinic is inviting the Tri-City community to join and gather at the Badger Mountain to honor Breast Cancer patients and survivors as well as their family and loved ones who had been involved in fighting this disease.

Rising Above Cancer Badger Mountain Climb
Participants are encouraged to bring their families and friends to climb up Badger Mountain on October 10. There will be a brief ceremony at the peak to honor patients, survivors and their families. The Northwest Cancer Clinic will be selling pink balloons for $5 at the venue for fund raising purposes. The proceeds will be given to the non-profit Focus on Cancer for free mammograms.

Prostate Cancer Screening At Tri-Cities Cancer Center Kennewick, WashingtonProstrate Cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in men. Annual Glow Run Columbia Point Park In Richland, Washington Come join Glow Run 2015 on Friday, September 18, 7:00 to 10 in the evening at Columbia Park Trail in Richland, Washington. 4th Annual Glow Run 5K Tri Cities The GLOW Run was started by a Relay for Life team The Betty Boobs in the Tri Cities to help fund cancer research.

Their mission is to raise money to fight cancer, and honor those in our lives that have fought this battle with grace, and bravery. And on September 18, join them in this event that will benefit the American Cancer Society.

The numbers are staggering: 21.1 per 100,000 deaths in Washington, D.C. alone.
