On Saturday, October 17 come and join the day full of good food, wine and shopping at the annual Pink the Parkway fundraising event that supports the Warrior Sisterhood a local non profit organization that partners with Tri-Cities Cancer Center. There will be door prizes that awaits you!
2015 Pink the Parkway
Warrior Sisterhood and Tri-Cities Cancer Center are partners in assisting women of the Tri-Cities that are diagnosed with cancer. The raised funds will directly be given to supporting local women battling cancer.
The event will be at The Richland Parkway, between Jadwin Avenue and George Washington Way Richland, Washington from 11:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon. There will be a $25 admission fee for adult and senior. Â

On Saturday, October 10 Northwest Cancer Clinic is inviting the Tri-City community to join and gather at the Badger Mountain to honor Breast Cancer patients and survivors as well as their family and loved ones who had been involved in fighting this disease.
Prostrate Cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in men. And as we know early detection can be the best option to early treatment as well. On September 14, 15 and 16, the Tri Cities Cancer Center in 7530 W. Deschutes Avenue Kennewick, Washington will be having a Prostrate Cancer Screening from 5:30 to 7:00 in the evening.
Come join Glow Run 2015 on Friday, September 18, 7:00 to 10 in the evening at Columbia Park Trail in Richland, Washington. 4th Annual Glow Run 5K Tri Cities The GLOW Run was started by a Relay for Life team The Betty Boobs in the Tri Cities to help fund cancer research.
Tri Cities Cancer Center located at 7530 W. Deschutes Avenue in Kennewick, Washington will be hosting a presentation about the common nutrition questions during cancer treatment on Wednesday, August 26 from 12:00 to 1:00 in the afternoon.
On Friday, October 17 take part in a meaningful event that will assist women going through breast cancer treatment and also to prostate support groups in the Tri-Cities.
There will be a FREE Prostate Cancer Screening on Wednesday, August 20 from 4:00 in the afternoon until 6:00 in the evening at the Northwest Cancer Clinic in Kennewick, Washington.
All golfers out there are invited to the HAPO Golf Classic on Friday, August 22 from 11:30 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon at Canyon Lakes Golf Course 3700 W Canyon Lakes Drive in Kennewick, Washington. Shotgun Starts at 1:00 in the afternoon while dinner and awards will be at 5:00. Putting contest follows right after the awarding ceremonies.
Everyone is encouraged to go to Tri-Cities Cancer Center on Thursday, August 21 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 in the afternoon for a very educational talk about how oral health can effect overall health. Tri-Cities Cancer Center is located at 7350 W. Deschutes Avenue Kennewick,Washington.
A couple of years ago, the Centers for Disease Control or CDC reported that while the number of colorectal cancer deaths throughout the United States have drastically gone down in recent years, Washington still ranks number one in the country for the highest rate of colon cancer deaths. The numbers are staggering: 21.1 per 100,000 deaths in Washington, D.C. alone.
