There will be presentation about the scary denizens of the night at 6:00 in the evening sharp so be there earlier. Immediately after that, there will be tables set up for kids to make clothespin bats, dissect owl pellets, or stroke a wolf pelt. 

Blue Mountain Wildlife will be on hand with live owls, and there will be spiders and snakes and scorpions. Experts will be on hand to talk about these creatures, or the Hanford Reach Monument itself.

Blue Mountain Wildlife Fundraiser in KennewickIf you don’t have anything to do on April 19, head on out to Kennewick Ranch and Home at 845 N. Columbia Center Blvd. for the annual Blue Mountain Wildlife Fundraiser.

Blue Mountain Wildlife
Blue Mountain Wildlife is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to provide help and take care of orphaned, sick, or injured wildlife. Their focus is on birds of prey, providing these creatures the necessary treatment and care to bring them back to their natural habitat.

Their goals include training volunteers to become experts in rehabilitation techniques, helping enhance awareness and appreciation of wildlife through public education, and providing a facility where concerned people can bring wildlife that need care.
