About the 1st Annual Lyme Disease Awareness Walk
In view of the Lyme Disease Awareness Month, the Fighting Tigers will host an awareness walk to call for a more accurate and accessible Lyme testing. Participants are advised to wear Lyme green clothes to demonstrate support. Lyme disease is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, which can lead to cognitive defects and heart ailment.

The Clot Trot Foundation will be hosting the 10th Annual Clot Trot event to promote Hemophilia awareness. Hemophilia is a health disorder that limits the ability of the blood to clot, which leads to severe or abnormal bleeding. 

The 10th Annual Clot Trot will be comprised of 10K Run, 5K Run, and 1 Mile Walk Run. These are activities that will also encourage community members to get involved in fitness programs.

The event marks the first annual golf tournament where the Tri-Cities Chapter of The Links is partnering with the Tri-Cities Cancer Center and Canyon Lakes Golf Course in promoting Breast Cancer and Prostate Awareness. Proceeds will go to the Chest of Hope Tri Cities.
