About The Gettysburg Gospel: Exploring Lincoln's Famous Address
The event is a presentation by Dr. William Woodward and talks about President Abraham Lincoln and his stand on slavery. Historian Woodward will make the case that Lincoln based his constitutional and moral vision on the Declaration of Independence. The Gettysburg Address will also be discussed and that Lincoln puts forth the Declaration of Independence as the key to his understanding the Constitution.
