About Summer Reading Challenge 2016: Go For Gold
The Summer Reading Challenge 2016: Go For Gold is a fun, rewarding activity for the whole family. It encourages everyone to keep their mind working, to explore more on what needs to be learned, and to be more creative and inventive.
Participants of Summer Reading Challenge 2016 have to follow the rules in order to finish the event successfully. There are 5 EXPLORE Activities and another 5 CREATE activities that need to be accomplished. Participants must also spend 10 hours reading or listening. Once the activities have been completed, the Challenge Log has to be filled out for the participants to receive their well-deserved prizes. The little ones get to receive a book for finishing the challenges while the adults will be given a book bag. Five of those who have finished the challenges will have a chance to win the grand prize package.
Apart from the challenges, there are also performances and other activities to make the Summer Reading Challenge 2016: Go For Gold even more exciting. There will be Seahawks mascot visits, author talks, sports and fitness clinics, and Badger Mountain hikes.
