The Columbia Basin College Arts Center is sending an invitation to students and the public to join the Annual Speech and Debate Clinic. About the Spring Speech and Debate Clinic
The Spring Speech and Debate Clinic is intended for high school seniors and college students but the Columbia Basin College has made this open to the public provided that they comply with the registration requirement. Students who will take part in the clinic will have the chance to be included in the CBC Excellence in Speech and Debate Scholarship program.
Based on studies, speech and debate programs in schools result to a number of benefits, particularly in the presentational skills of the students. The activities included in these programs trigger an individual to think rationally and to come up and respond with reasonable and compelling arguments.
