Join the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation in support of local cancer patients and their families at the Run for Ribbons event on Saturday, May 9. There will be a 5K, 10K and 1 mile fun run and walk community event aimed to raise awareness and promote prevention on all forms of cancer.
6th Run for Ribbons
Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation once again hosts the event at the Howard Amon Park in Richland, Washington. Registration for the event will start at 8:30 and race begins at 10; 00 in the morning. Run participants will receive a t-shirt featuring a blank ribbon. It’s the Run for Ribbon’s tradition to decorate it, use it to honor a memory, celebrate survival or to simply encourage hope. Once registered for the event, t-shirts can be picked up from the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation Office located at 7350 W. Deschutes Avenue, Kennewick, Washington.
There will also be a RibbonFest health fair at the run. There will be education booths focused on all forms of cancer. Participants can make a bracelet that changes colors with UV light exposure. Mascots from several area organizations will be on hand to help kick off the race. A Fundraising Incentive Award awaits participants.
Fee:
$25 Adults / $15 Youth if pre-registered by May 8th (t-shirt included)
$30 Adults / $20 youth if registering on race day (t-shirt included while supplies last)
