Ron White is Ronald Dee White in real life, but is more popularly known as "Tater Salad." He is a native of Fritch, Texas and has been active in the stand-up comedy industry since 1987. White's kind of comedy ranges from country to observational, and satire to blue comedy. Ron White looks up to Bill Hicks, Steve Martin, Sam Kinison and Bob Newhart.
Ron White had gained more followers when he took part in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. The book, "I Had the Right to Remain Silent But I Didn't Have the Ability" is Ron White's magnum opus. This book has been a part of the list of New York Times bestsellers. In Texas, April 27, 2009, has been dubbed as "Ron White Day". It's an effort made by the legislative officials in honor of the pride he has brought to their community.
