On Friday, November 6 the Richland Player Theatre presents Ordinary People. Tickets go on sale the Wednesday before opening night. Purchase tickets during regular box office hours or online, or look for our booth at the Richland Farmers Market for season tickets.
Ordinary People
Directed by Kristin Lerch, Ordinary People is about Conrad Jarrett. Conrad had an older brother named Buck, and now Buck is gone. What's left of young Conrad's family, with his successful, well-intentioned father and his organized and remote mother, is in terrible jeopardy, as is Conrad himself. Â
They are all "ordinary people" and each is fighting a hard battle. This play goes to the essence of a young man, his friends and family, their relationships and survival. The anxiety, despair and joy that is common to every human experience...if Conrad and his family are ordinary people, why then so are we all.
Ticket reservations must be paid for at the box office one hour prior to curtain or tickets will be released for re-sale. Evening performances are at 8:00 p.m., matinees are at 2:00 p.m.Â
