Prosser Scottish Fest And Highland Games In Prosser, WashingtonCelebrate a day of highland family fun on Saturday, June 20 at the Prosser Wine and Food Park, 2140 Wine Country Road from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening.

Details of the Celebration
This year’s Prosser Scottish Fest and Highland Games along with The Port of Benton, Prosser Chamber of Commerce and PMH Medical Center, celebrate its 15th Anniversary featuring highland competition dance of highland historical dances and national dances. There will be a parade of tartans and anvil launch and a participation of 32 kilts -clad men and women will be competing for heavy athletics such as caber toss, sheaf toss, stone, hammer and weight events.

Festival goers can also take part in the anvil and keg toss events. For lads and lasses ages 7 to 14 years old can sign up for the kid’s version of athletic competition. The Highland Market will feature local and regional artisans as swell as Scottish and Irish imports. Food and drinks will be available. Other activities of the event are sheep shearing, fiber spinning and a contest of weaving demonstrations for men.

Adults-$10 • Children (5-12)-$5
Children (4 years and younger)-admission is free.
