REI is holding a summer camping basics class lass at Mid-Columbia Library. The class is open to old and new campers in the Pacific Northwest. Join REI and learn everything you need to know about how to take the first steps in camping, trips and other special considerations. The event will highlight the diverse camping opportunities in Washington, Idaho and Oregon as well as cover the basics of the Pacific Northwest essentials, gear and equipment, local activities, great regional resources and other camping areas and sites to camp. Class registration is free.
