Lecture: Mary Shelley's Frankenstein: Anatomy Of A Masterpiece Kennewick, WashingtonOn Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 in the evening everyone is invited to be a part of scholar Lance Rhodes' lecture about Mary Shelley's Frankenstein: Anatomy of a Masterpiece at the Mid Columbia Library 1620 S. Union St. in Kennewick, Washington.

More about the Event
Frankenstein was written by 19-year-old Mary Shelley more than two centuries ago and it has served as a vivid allegory in debates on technology, slavery, and universal suffrage.

The event will be led by Lance Rhoades with a multi-media presentation and considers how Shelley ingeniously addressed some of mankind’s greatest concerns with a creation that took on a life of its own. The program is part of the Community Lecture Series, in partnership with Columbia Basin College, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and many other community partners.
