About Challenging Behaviours
This Kadlec presentation will center on educating participants how to understand and respond to dementia-related behavior. It aims to make everyone aware that when a person with dementia loses his ability to use language to communicate, his behavior becomes his tool to express his sentiments and needs.
Challenging Behaviors will teach how the family and caregivers of people with dementia can deal with their circumstance. Learn how to interpret the messages being delivered through their behavior. Find out what triggers certain behavior and be aware of strategies that can make the life of people with dementia-related conditions and their families a lot better.
