Joan Jett was born Joan Marie Larkin. Joan is a native of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Apart from singing, she is also a songwriter and a record producer. Joan started her career as a singer in 1975 and remains active up to this day. Joan has received various recognitions including the AP Icon Award and the Golden God Award which she both received in 2014. Joan Jett has also appeared in movies like Ordinary World, The Muppets, and Big Driver.
