Happy Horse Riding School Day Camps In Burbank, WashingtonOn August 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 Happy Horse Riding School located at 548 Tuttle Lane in Burbank, Washington will be offering day camps for those who want to enjoy horses more. Camps will be from 7:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon.

Happy Horse Riding School Day Camp
The school’s goal is to introduce you to the wonderful world of horses. If you already ride they will teach you how to enjoy horses more or get along with your own horse better. Plus, you can have a horse of your own or you can bring him or her to camp with you, just let us know so arrangements can be made.

On the first day of the day camp a horse will be assigned to every camper to take care of. The responsibilities of feeding the horse at lunch, cleaning the stall and taking care of any special needs will also be assigned. Each day every camper will have a riding lesson, vaulting lesson and unmounted lesson. The camp will use English saddles and campers will be taught on how to own and care for horses. Learning balanced seat which will apply to any style of riding will be taught in the day camp as well.

Depending on skill level, campers will be doing jumping, games and riding up and down the hills. Campers will also be doing vaulting; it is gymnastics on horseback and is the most fun way to learn to ride. On the last day of the camp, during the last hour, there will be a demonstration and awards ceremony for family and friends.

What to Bring to the Camp:
First Day: bring 1 pound of carrots, snack to share and a bottle of water

The Following Days (everyday): bring boots, helmets, tennis shoes, sunscreen and sack lunch. The camp has extra boots and helmets to share if in case camper doesn’t have one.

The five day summer camp registration fee is $276.
