Hanford Reach Interpretive Center Tour's Chasing the Ice Age Floods Richland WashingtonOn May 29, the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center, the preeminent showcase for advancing our understanding of the forces of man and nature that have shaped the Pacific Northwest, from the Ice Age Floods to the Manhattan Project and beyond located at 1943 Columbia Park Trail, Richland will have an 8 hour tour will that will trace the Missoula Floods and the lake bed of ancient Lake Lewis.

All About “Chasing the Ice Age Floods”
Experience for yourself the Ice Age Floods by land and by river. The tour will start at the Columbia River on board Columbia River Journey's jet boat through Wallula Gap. From the boat a tour of McNary Dam takes place. The next destination is at the River Grill where guests will have lunch and finally to the Sage Center.

What is included in the tour?
For a fee of $175, the tour includes jet boat, bus, tour guides, beverages, lunch and entrance to Sage Center. Hours is from 8:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon.
