Grant Lyon opted to begin his comedy career in San Francisco. The San Francisco Weekly noticed him and regarded him as a keen observer who makes an effort to come up with substantial material. Surprisingly, Grant used to be a soccer player. But he chose to advance his career in making people laugh. Grant's love for his craft is beginning to pay off as he continues to gain followers. He grabbed the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival award where he won over several comedians coming from different part of the country. Just for Laughs Festival, which was held in Montreal, also picked Grant as the New Face in comedy. He has been a part of famous comedy gatherings including the Great American Comedy Festival and the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival. Apart from stand-up comedy, radio and writing also keep Grant busy. He has also appeared in some commercials which include AT&T, CiCi's Pizza and a lot more.
