Graham Parker Conducts Lecture At Mid-Columbia Library Kennewick WashingtonMeet Graham Parker, a senior staff engineer with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, as he collaborates with some of the best and brightest researchers in the world to come up with a lecture about Electric Utility Paradigm that will be presented at the Mid-Columbia Library, 1600 Union Street in Kennewick, Washington on Thursday, June 11. The lecture starts at 7:00 in the evening.

About the Presentation
This presentation looks back at the energy crisis, highlights of some of the significant changes since the crisis began and identifies the factors that will change the utility paradigm in the future. It is about the changes of the electric utility landscape with de-regulation and the West Coast Energy Crisis, followed by the unprecedented rise in the operating cost and an aging infrastructure and culminating in today’s environmental regulation and emergence of grid-smart technologies.
