An Enchanting Evening in Rivendell: An Elvish Masquerade
This event is a charitable masquerade to unite performing artist and enthusiasts from around the Mid- Columbia region for an evening of decadent food and lively entertainment. All the proceeds of the event will be used to aid the Arts Center Task Force. The Task Forces mission is to build a Mid-Columbia Performing Arts Center right in the region. Your attendance will support this project.
This is a 21 and over event with a no-host bar featuring beer by Ice Harbours Brewery, Anthology wines and a specialty cocktail. Be sure to bring your identification with you at check-in or you won’t’ be admitted.
Foods are catered by Castle Event Catering which has created a menu of fresh and local items inspired by Seven Daily Hobbit Meals to be enjoyed throughout the event.
Attire:
Masks are required for entry into the masquerade event. This is a formal event. Wear evening gowns or cocktail dress for ladies and suits or tuxedos for the men. Costumes inspired by Tolkien’s fictional-universe Middle-earth are encouraged as long as they fit in with the formal concept. Think about what a Hobbit, Dwarf, Elf or Wizard might wear to a formal gathering thrown by Elrond and Rivendell.
There will be a costume contest for the Best Couple, Best Male Costume and Best Female Costume so get creative. This is going to be an indoor/outdoor party so choose the shoes to wear that should be compatible with wandering through the north lawn to fully experience all there is to do at the garden masquerade.
Add a formal portrait by Nick Page Photography to your experience. One portrait per ticket, multiple tickets can be purchased. For more details click here.
