The Downtown Pasco's Cinco de Mayo Festival is a celebration for the whole family. The festival will feature activities that kids and adults alike will take pleasure in. There will be a parade, performances from great local artists, art presentations, food vendors and lots and lots of kiddie activities. The celebration of Cinco de Mayo in Downtown Pasco started in 1989. Up to these days, this festivity remains as fun and exciting. It is expected that the 2016 Cinco de Mayo will bring in around 9, 000 attendees together. Cinco de Mayo in Downtown Pasco is an opportunity for the community to observe the victory of Mexico over France during the time of the Battle of Puebla, which took place on the 5th of May, 1862.
