On Thursday, October 22 there will be a Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil at John Dam Plaza 1815 George Washington Way in Richland, Washington from 6:15 until 8:00 in the evening.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and everyone is invited to join and honor victims of domestic violence and their children. Candlelight Vigil will start at 6:15 PM.
This year’s DVS candlelight Vigil features a life-size silhouettes representing every victim killed as a result of domestic violence in our community since 1998. Domestic Violence Services shelter, 24 hour crisis line, legal advocacy, support groups, resources and referrals, community education, children’s service, housing advocacy and further support services for domestic violence victims and their children.Â
Please come and help keep our community violence free. Domestic Violence Services of Benton and Franklin Counties organizes the event each year and this is the 13th year for the remembrance.
