db Studio's Vitrigraph Dropouts With Nathan Sandberg In Richland,WashingtonLearn how to fuse glass at the db Studio Glass Classes from August 7-10 at the Barnard Griffin Winery, 878 Tulip Lane in Richland, Washington.

About the Class
Vitigraph Dropout fused glass is glass that has been fired in a kiln at a range of fire at high temperature. These are glasses that are joined to form a single entity. Capitalizing on the ways glass can be arranged in and flows from a crucible, the students in this unique and innovative workshop will learn to create reproducible decorative canes and intricate murrini using the Vitigraph Kiln.

These elements will be fused into a blank that will be used to explore the Dropout methods of slumping glass in the kiln. Students will learn the basics of working with the Vitigraph Kiln as well as a selection of advanced methods of murine making. Each student will create one dropout vessel while learning the many variables involved in the Dropout process.

Students must attend the 4 day class.
