This Monday July 13, the Western State University, 2770 Crimson Way in Richland, Washington is inviting all students to attend in the Middle School Summer Camp from 1:00 to 4:30 in the afternoon.
Crazy Chemistry - Summer Camp
The summer camp class is all about chemistry. Chemistry is a branch of physical science that studies the composition, properties, structure and change of matter. It deals with the study of individual atoms and how atoms form chemical bonds to create chemical compounds.
Find out and discover how the physical states of matter, surface, tension, density and viscosity as well as buoyancy and atomic structure of these properties differ as you conduct experiments. As you do an experiment on food chemistry, you are allowed to play with your food and explore elements, compounds and mixtures.
Clean up as you explore the chemistry behind cleaning solutions and see other chemical reactions. It’s going to be a fun and interesting activity. Register now.
