U.S. Army Sponsored Fever Game in Kennewick

U.S. Army Sponsored Fever Game with Special Silent Auction for Wounded Warrior Project
This Saturday night, May 29, the Tri City Fever Football team will be playing against the Fairbanks Grizzlies. The Fever team and the U.S. Army will be joining forces for this memorial weekend game. Players of the Fever team will be wearing special edition U.S. Army camouflage jerseys for the game. During the game a silent auction will take place for the special edition jerseys to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project began in 2002 with the purpose of helping wounded soldiers. Today the mission of the Wounded Warrior Project remains the same, to honor and empower wounded warriors. One of the trademark activities of the project is…

Tri Cities Guild Presents Workshop and Luncheon

The Tri Cities Quilters Guild Sponsors Rosemary Eichorn Workshop and Luncheon
The Tri-City Quilters Guild is sponsoring a workshop and a fashion show by the well-known fiber artist, Rosemary Eichorn. Friday through Sunday, May 14-16, Rosemary will teach a three-day workshop called Art Quilt or Reversible Vest with an Attitude at the Benton PUD Auditorium in Kennewick Washington. Rosemary’s workshop is for anyone with at least a basic knowledge of quilting who would like to tap into their well of creativity. The workshop will go from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day. West Richland Lion's Club's 2nd Annual Fat Man's Bi-Athlon

The Red Mountain Lion's Club presents the 2nd Annual Fat Man's Bi-Athlon on Friday May 21st. With a $60 donation you will be entered into the 9 hole scramble, dinner, and entry in the Texas Hold'em Poker tournament. All proceeds benefit the Red Mountain Lions Club. Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition at CBC in Pasco

The Art Department at Columbia Basin College, in Pasco Washington, will be putting on their Annual Juried Student Exhibition. The exhibition will begin on May 17 in the Esvelt Gallery at CBC, there will be an opening reception and awards ceremony on May 20 beginning at 7:00pm. A collection of student work will be displayed that reflects the finest efforts of CBC art students, past and present. The exhibit is open to the public, the gallery hours are Monday – Thursday from 8:00am to 8:30pm, and Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm; admission is free. CBC Theatre Department to Perform Communicating Doors

The Columbia Basin College Theatre Department will be performing Communicating Doors, a comedy thriller, written by Alan Ayckbourn. On May 14, 15, 21, and 22, there will be a showing of the play at 7:30 in the CBC theatre.  The play is rated PG. This theatre presentation is brought to you by the Arts and Humanities Division at Columbia Basin College, in Pasco Washington, as part of their continuing community enrichment program. Fundraiser for Haiti Orphanage at Tri City Americans Hockey Game

On March 11 at the Tri City Americans hockey game against the Seattle Thinderbirds, a silent auction will be held to raise money for a World Harvest Missions orphanage in Haiti. There is also going to be discount tickets sold for the game until Friday for $10, $3 will go towards the orphanage. Several people from the Tri Cities went down to the orphanage after the earthquake in January to help, so there is a connection between the Tri Cities and the orphanage.
