Well it’s that time of year again, time to head down to Kennewick Washington's Columbia Park for the 50th Annual Columbia Cup for the Unlimited Hydroplanes race at the Water Follies.

Nearly 70,000 spectators from throughout the Northwest will converge along the Kennewick and Pasco banks of the Columbia River to enjoy the races and a spectacular air show featuring an alpha jet.

The Water Follies sponsored by Lamb Weston will take place, July 24 to 26, and will be full of high speed hydroplane racing in the Columbia

A Time of Remembrance - Honoring Our Fallen Heroes In Kennewick, WashingtonOn Saturday, September 27 the families and fellow comrades of the fallen heroes will have the chance to confidentially get together for a time of sharing, and will attend break-out sessions which will provide information to assist in the process of coping with their loss and sacrifice. A Candlelight Vigil will happen at Columbia Park at the Veteran's Memorial in Kennewick, Washington. Everyone is encouraged to join the families at the Candlelight Ceremony beside the Columbia River. The Vigil will start at 7:30 in the evening.

The following day Sunday, September 28 there will be an official State Recognition Ceremony that will be hosted by the City of West Richland at Flat Top Park. The goal of the event is to have each of our heroes memory

Competitive heat comes first and starts at 7:30 in the morning.Every wave thereafter starts every 30 minutes. There is approximately 100 per wave. Junior Race times are 11 in the morning and 1:00 in the afternoon.
