This coming Monday, October 12 the CBC Esvelt Gallery presents Atmospheric Abstractions with Mariah Boyle and Ruth E. Allan from 8:00 in the morning until 8:30 in the evening. Columbia Basin College Esvelt Gallery is located at 2600 North 20 Avenue Pasco, Washington. Admission is free and open to the public.Â

Mariah Boyle is currently teaching at Spokane Falls Community College. She created life-sized drawings and installations using dry material like charcoal, conte crayon, pastel and water based media like ink, watercolor and paint. She received her BA from Eastern Oregon University and her MFA from Washington State University in 2012.
Ruth E. Allan is the former chairman of the City Arts Commission also the Curator and exhibits specialist for the Museum of Columbia. She creates porcelain clay vessels that are wheel thrown, hand polished, hand carved and saggar fired. She earned her MFA in painting and design from the University of Illinois and currently teaches ceramics at Wenatchee Valley College
