Tosten is a brilliant musician whose style defies easy classification. He is well-known for his strong and soulful voice and an eclectic and expressive guitar technique that includes percussion, tapping, multiple open tunings and capos.
The artist is also known as an “acoustic one-man band" while his lyrics are both introspective and thoughtful and speak to the audience individually as well as collectively with his observations on society, the complexities of living and love. In addition, Tosten’s classical and jazzy overtones elevate his original compositions to a level more sophisticated than simply “folk,” and his live performances are packed not just with songs that captivates and inspires but is filled with intense energy and stories.
