About Modern Romance
This is a 1981 comedy film directed by and starring Albert Brooks, who also co-wrote the script with Monica Mcgowan Johnson. It co-stars Kathryn Harrold and Bruno Kirby.

Modern Romance will be introduced by Michael Mays, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor of English at WSU Tri-Cities, who has written extensively about the film’s director, co-writer, and star, Albert Brooks.
