About the 'Embrace of the Serpent'
Embrace of the Serpent is a 2015 film which was directed by Ciro Guerra and produced by Cristina Gallego. The story of Embrace of the Serpent is based on the Diaries of Theodor Koch-Grunberg and Richard Evans Schultes. The actors included in this film are led by Jan Bijvoet, NilbioTorres, and Antonio Bolivar. Its story centers on Karamakate, an Amazonian shaman who is the last to survive among the members of his tribe. In his search for the sacred plant yakruna, he travels with two scientists.
