An exhibition of information, equipment, supplies and success stories related to safety and health, the TRAC Center launches this year's Health and Safety EXPO that will happen from May 13 to 14.Â

Present in the event are the work groups from the Hanford Site and a number of exhibitors from across the United States that will provide information on products and services focused on maintaining a safe and healthy lifestyle, both at home and in the workplace. Through demonstrations, hands-on exhibits, and products, EXPO attendees will have the opportunity to see and learn about a variety of safety and health-related products and equipment.

American children’s poet Kenn Nesbitt named “Children’s Poet Laureate” by the Poetry Foundation, a Chicago-based American foundation created to promote poetry in the wider culture will be at Richland Public Library on May 15 at 7:00 in the evening for a night of book reading and signing.
The Kadlec Neurological Resource Center features their series entitled "Living with Alzheimer's for Younger Onset" on May 15 with an afternoon session scheduled at 1:00 until 3:00 PM and an evening session at 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The event will be held at the Bethel Church, 600 Shockley Road Richland, Washington.

The Emerald of Siam is holding a benefit for the people affected by the tragic mudslide in Western Washington on May 16 at 6:00 in the evening. All donations go to organizations helping with recovery efforts.
On May 16 and 17, the Hanford Center Stage continues it's presentation of Robin Hood at the Hanford High School Auditorium Main Stage, 450 Hanford St. Richland, Washington. The show starts at 7:30 in the evening and is directed by Deb Donahoe & Peggy Painter

From May 12 until June 5, the CBC Esvelt Gallery will be hosting the much anticipated final exhibition of the spring term the “Annual Juried Student Art Show”. The opening events will happen on May 14, Wednesday. The program will start with the award ceremony at 7:00 p m where over $3,000 worth of cash prizes and purchase awards will be presented. A catered reception in the courtyard of the gallery will follow shortly.
