Everyone is invited to a community fundraiser happening on June 14 at the Badger Mountain Trailhead Park, 525 Queensgate Drive, Richland Washington from 8:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon. The event is certainly fun for the whole family! Hike, bounce house, and enjoy live music, hot dogs, hamburgers and so much more!
2nd Annual Hike for Hope
The fundraiser is about helping improve the quality of life of individuals with Fragile X Syndrome and to help raise funds that will be used for advance research for a possible cure in the future.
What is FXS or Fragile X Syndrome?
The syndrome is a genetic condition and the leading inherited cause of intellectual disability worldwide.
Meet and Greet at the Hike for Hope 2014
Also happening on June 14 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 in the afternoon is the special meet and greet for families and friends impacted by Fragile X syndrome at Badger Mountain park during the Fragile X Hike for Hope.
