On Friday, July 24 the fourth Friday of the month, from 3:00 until 5:00 in the afternoon your LIGO host will provide you with a presentation about LIGO and an educational free public drop-in tours where you get a chance to see first-hand the excellent look of facility located in LIGO Hanford Observatory (west of Richland on Horn Road (Route 10) Richland Washington.
Who can join the LIGO Tours?
Anyone can be a part of the tour. If you want to go in a group, a private weekday or evening tour can be scheduled for a minimum of 15 persons. LIGO regularly offers tours for community groups, astronomy clubs, professional societies and others.
