Once a year, the fascinating, historic Southeast Washington community of Dayton opens its doors for the Dayton on Tour event. This is a full day of historic home tours, art shows, art demonstrations and a family fall street festival featuring some of Dayton’s greatest sources of pride; its history and its artisans.

Admission is $10.00 per person. It will run from 1:00 until 4:00 in the afternoon.

The Southeastern Washington cavalcade of bands started in 1981with band directors from Pasco and Kennewick high schools, Randy Hubbs and John Owen.

This year, Cavalcade of Bands will be featuring 24 high school marching bands from Washington, Idaho and Oregon competing for awards. Preliminary competitions are from 8:30 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon. The finals starts at 6:00 in the evening.
