The Richland High School drama department has been hard at week working on their performance of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical, Anything Goes. Anything Goes takes place on a cruise ship traveling from London to New York. Before the ship’s departure Billy Crocker manages to sneak aboard the ship in the hopes of winning the affections of heiress, Hope Harcourt. Unfortunately for Crocker, Hope is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Crocker finds help to woo Hope in the form nightclub singer, Reno Sweeney and mobster, Moonface Martin. “The madcap shenanigans that happen along the way, as well as the nostalgic music, should keep the audience captivated.”
Anything Goes performances will take place at the Richland High School Auditorium, in Richland Washington, on February 25-26 and March 4-5 with a curtain time of 7:30pm each night. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at Adventures Underground or at the door.
