On April 16, come out and run in support of local Autism programs around the Tri Cities Washington area at the Responding to Autism Fun Run. All the proceeds raised at the run will go towards providing resources for families affected by autism; resources such as low cost/free autism screenings.
The Responding to Autism Fun Run will include a 1 mile family friendly, 5K and a 10K. The cost is $20 for the 5K or the 10K; price includes a t-shirt. The 1 mile run is $5 and does not include a t-shirt. The price to buy a t-shirt separately is $15. This year there are a couple new additions which include the mascot dash, corporate cup challenge and a picnic in the park. Mascot Dash: All present will have the chance to get your picture taken with local mascots and there will be a one-mile challenge for all the local mascots and characters, the winner gets bragging rights. Corporate Challenge: All groups with 10 people or more will have the chance to win prizes for fastest time and most participants. Picnic in the Park: After the event participants will have the chance to win prizes and enjoy snacks.
