Hell-o: These articles are very interesting read. My husband and I have lived on the east coast for many years. We are long time employees of chemical companies, had beautiful benefits and salaries. Now we are retired, receiving a pension along with Social Security. We are living within our means but that is with close watch of our investments and not to be too quick to overspend. One of our children's husband lost his job twice in one year. This was a big concern but all worked out and he is currently employed again with a reputable company and once again burning the midnight candle to get ahead. We have kept a lot of faith and family guidance to pull him through and today he is happy. We look out around us and hear the awful stories of others, see the sad news and talk to other families who are going through bad hardships. Time will heal and eventually jobs will be had but the big ingredient is time......Unemployment, food banks, Government assistance, no fee school lunches, special health care for the children. etc. God Bless all who are searching, you will receive soon.
