The Kennewick School District has organized a community bus tour for Thursday, February 4. As part of the tour those in attendance will be able to visit Tri-Tech Skills Center and Vista Elementary. The tour begins at 8:00 a.m. at the district administration building located at 524 S. Auburn St. with coffee, muffins, and presentations by Superintendent, Dave Bond, and school principals. From there a Kennewick School Bus will take everyone to Tri-Tech Skills Center and Vista Elementary. While there those in attendance will have a unique opportunity to actually go into classrooms; talk to teachers, students, and administrators; and see what education today really looks like. Then the bus will go back to the district at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and a Q&A session.
