Allergy Free Cooking for the Family

Fresh Grown Vegetables in Tri Cities WaThere a many families out there with one or two members who have one or more of the most common food allergies whether it be egg, gluten, dairy, nut, or any of the other ones. Cooking for a family will allergies can be a bit of a challenge. Brianna Rose Monson has written a cookbook titles Allergy Free for the Family Cookbook. On Tuesday November 2 from 6:30-8:30pm, Monson will be talking in Room B109 at Southridge High School about the seven most common food allergies and how to read food labels for “hidden allergens.” Monson will also demonstrate a no fear chocolate chip cookie recipe that are allergy free and sure to please! Registration costs $21.

Allergy Free Cooking for Kids

On November 4, head on over to Southridge High School with the kids for a class about cooking allergy free, taught by Brianna Rose Monson. You and the kids will have fun learning to make a gluten, egg, dairy, and nut free dessert pizza. Then have a blast cutting out and decorating allergy free sugar cookies. Best of all you and your children will be able to taste your creations. The cost for the class is $21 and covers both you and your children. Class will be from 6:30-7:30pm in room B109 at the high school.
