Jackson’s Sports Bar & Restaurant in Richland Washington will be throwing a Beach Barbecue and Street Dance this Saturday. The barbecue will begin at 6:00pm and the music begins at 8:30pm. The event will feature a raffle and silent auction to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The event sponsors for the beach bbq and street dance are Bettendorf’s Printing and Design, Ideal Jewelry and Gallery, and 97.5 Cool FM. If you purchase your tickets in advance the cost for the BBQ with cover is $15, the cost for the cover only is $4 or if you purchase tickets at the door they are $20 for the BBQ with cover and $5 for the cover only. Street dances are a lot of fun. I remember going to a couple when I was a teen.
What’s really fun about street dances is the people watching. Give someone a beer or two and there is more entertainment in the watching than the doing!
