Granger Washington is a city located in the Yakima Valley of Southeastern Washington. With a population of over 2,500, Granger takes pride in being a smaller rural community with history going back to the late 1800s. When Granger was first incorporated as a city in 1909 they had one of the biggest hotels in Washington State, this was very useful since Granger was the staging grounds for many settlers coming to the area. Granger Clay Products Company was a large business in the city, they built bricks and tile for many years and continued to do so until the mine was depleted in the 1960s.
While in Granger do not be surprised to see dinosaurs placed throughout the city. In the 1990s the city decided to create a tourist attraction of dinosaurs, giving the city of Granger an alternative name; Where Dinosaurs Roam.
